Eddie, I too am impressed with the 2710/2910. I've been on a 2710, but have been unable to locate a 2910 in the whole United State of Texas. I do have a price quote on the 2910HST with L402 and R4s - $16,575

Dealers are expecting them in any day now.......but they've been saying that since around the 1st of March.

I'm thinking of opting for a similarly equipped L3010

Bird, you mean folks take their tractors out in bad weather??....MAN!!!...some people have no respect for their tools!*laughing*...I was figuring on getting one of them plastic slip covers for mine. You know like the ones our mother's used to put on the livingroom furniture...I think they were made by Fingerhaut Co....or something like that....

Glad to hear I won't have that freezing problem down here in God's country...TEXAS!!

Art...the size issue has created quite a quandry for me. The local Kubota dealer has offered to let me try out a 3010 on my property for a few hours and I plan on taking him up on his offer before I buy. As far as the 2910 is concerned...no one seems to have one available yet. I've seen and driven the 2710s and I'm impressed, but it lacks some of the creature comforts I would prefer to have.

Is the B2910 the quot right quot tractor for me

I'm more concerned with manueverablity in and around the trees.....bushoggin' and rakin'.........how is that big boy of yours in those situations??

OK...here's a tough one...I got lotsa work to be done...front loaderin', 5' bush hoggin', and 5' box bladin'<br>workhorse narrowed down to JD 4300 and Kubota 3010...both HST<br>assume cost differential is insignificant factor in trade study...PROs??.........CONs???advice.....impressions.....real world experiences??.......all help greatly appreciated......Andy

I'm looking to purchase a 25-30 hp tractor with a front end loader, 5' box scraper, and 5' rotary mower/brush hog. I have been comparing the JD4000 series, NH Boomers, and the Kubota B2710. Now I hear Kubota has a 2910. Does anyone have any realtime experience with the 2910?? I've never owned a tractor before. I have 6 acres to maintain. Four in trees that need initial clearing then routine maintenance, and 2 in grass/weeds/green stuff. I also have some dirt I want to rearrange. SO...I 'm looking for advice. Thanx in advance for any input.
